Sharon Simpson Joseph, Esq. is the president of Spirit Soars, Inc. and a coach, attorney, and national speaker. A writer and poet throughout her life, Sharon's career has uniquely spanned the legal, political, nonprofit, journalism and education fields. She is a graduate of Stanford Law School and a member of the California State Bar.

Sharon has served as legal counsel to Mayor Tom Bradley of Los Angeles, directed a drop-out prevention/mentoring program in Watts, and taught Constitutional Law and Marketing for Nonprofits at the University of Judaism. She is a recipient of the Los Angeles Council Award for Extraordinary Efforts on Behalf of Domestic Violence Victims. And How My Spirit Soars: Learning to Pack for an Extraordinary Journey, based upon her life long journals, is her debut book. In addition to writing Soars, her love of journaling and coaching led her to teach an ongoing series of multi-sensory workshops on life issues such as Embracing Change, Balancing Acts and Charting Our Journeys.

A marathon runner and a lover of song, Sharon celebrates life in Atlanta, GA with her husband Robert, sons Robert Luke and Joshua and cocker spaniel, Henry.
